Dr. David Burt believes in treating the patient, not just the disease, and over the past four decades, he has worked to build a career that centers patient care. For the past 10 years, he has specialized in sleep dentistry, working to become a designated sleep provider and offering patients oral appliances as alternatives to C-PAP machines.

Nine years after acquiring Mountainville Dental, Dr. Burt joined Simply Beautiful Smiles. He was attracted to the Simply Beautiful Smiles’ patientcentric mission and impressed by the vision for the future. A Moravian University graduate, Dr. Burt earned his DDS from Temple University. He completed an externship at Suburban General Hospital and was an associate at a large dental office before starting his own practice in 1979.

Dr. Burt is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Lehigh Valley Dental Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the International College of Dentists and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Outside of the office, he enjoys outdoor sports and is an accomplished skydiver, with more than 2,500 jumps and 38 hours of free fall.
