Dr. Anita M. Milici began her career in dentistry as a dental hygiene graduate of the Forsyth School at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She practiced as a registered dental hygienist in her home state of Connecticut while completing her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and received her doctorate in Dentistry. Dr. Anita continued her post-doctoral studies as the first women accepted in Penn’s Periodontal- Prosthesis program followed by a Branemark fellowship in Implantology.
In her pursuit of excellence, Dr. Milici has continued her studies with numerous hours of continuing education in advanced bone grafting techniques, gum sculpting and grafting, which includes the Pin Hole Technique, and LANAP, the most advanced laser therapy to treat gum disease.
She is a member of the following professional organizations: the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
In her free time Dr. Milici is an avid and adventurous gardener, admired by many for her prodigious green thumb. She and her husband-partner, Frank, enjoy their home with Francesca and Giovanni and two affectionate Labradoodles.
