About:

Dr. Andrew Donald grew up in Frederick, Maryland, and received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. Following his college graduation, he worked at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, as a post-baccalaureate fellow doing research on the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and osteoarthritis. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in May of 2018 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

When Dr. Donald is not working at the office, he enjoys providing dental health workshops and videos in ASL (American Sign Language) for the Deaf community.

Good communication is very important to him, as it helps develop caring relationships with his patients while providing high-quality dental care. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Southern Maryland Dental Society (SMDS).

Dr. Donald has many interests, which include reading, traveling, running, hiking, cycling, working on cars, and playing with his family dogs.
