Leading Regional Dental Services Organization Expands Team to Support Growing Number of Acquisitions
Simply Beautiful Smiles, the leading regional dental services organization in the Delaware Valley, has named three new executives to support its continued expansion efforts. Teresa Ciaccio has joined as Senior Vice President, Operations, Carolyn Doud has joined as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer and David Sopp has joined as Vice President, Business Development.
Having spent more than a decade in the healthcare industry, Ms. Ciaccio has extensive experience across performance optimization, merger planning and implementation, systems integration and turnaround management. At Simply Beautiful Smiles, she oversees all operations, including staff management, protocol implementation, onboarding and integration, and talent development. Her consulting and interim management engagements have included the Hospital of St. Raphael / Yale New Haven Health System, University of California San Diego, multiple major health systems and Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), an OptumCare company, where she worked with various ambulatory surgical centers.
Over her expansive career, Ms. Doud has used her corporate and consulting background to inform her approach to partnering with executives to address complex talent challenges. Since joining Simply Beautiful Smiles, she has built a reputation for quickly identifying the most significant opportunities to create value and mobilizing teams into action. She brings more than 20 years of talent leadership experience in complex, global operating companies including Omnicom, Avon Products and ConAgra Foods. Immediately prior to joining Simply Beautiful Smiles, Ms. Doud served as an executive talent advisor to numerous companies and brands including Renfro Brands, Starboard Cruise Services (LVMH NA), John Deere and Ocean Spray.
With a diverse range of experiences managing transactions of all sizes, Mr. Sopp focuses on identifying potential acquisitions and supporting the process from practice evaluation to close. Throughout his career, he has had a particular focus on family-owned and owner-operated businesses. Prior to Simply Beautiful Smiles, Mr. Sopp was a Partner at Kamylon Capital and the SVP, Corporate Development for Transformative Healthcare, a Kamylon Capital strategic business unit. He earlier held positions with Capital Resource Partners, HarbourVest Partners and ABS Capital Partners.
